You can uninstall apps from your Android device by going into your home screen > settings > apps and notifications > scroll down the list to find the app you want to uninstall > delete it.
Delete/disable BloatwareIf you don’t know what Bloatware is, I’ll give you a quick rundown. Basically, It’s software that is pre-installed on the phone by the manufacturers when you buy it. For example, this happens on PCs also, when you buy them from shops, for example, PC World. Sometimes the Bloatware can be Useful like antivirus, but, in most cases, it can just slow down your phone, And it’s best to get rid of it to give you the best optimal perfprmance speed and free up some storage As well. Go to the home screen > settings > Applications > Then find the apps you Haven’t installed yourself > Then disable the ones that you don’t want to use anymore.
Removing cached dataThis is a helpful tip that can help you quite a bit. By removing your cached data on apps will not completely delete all their memory, but will only delete the files that it does not need to keep hold of anymore. All the files are just junk that can sometimes easily take up a Gigabyte of your storage. So it can be worth going into all of your apps and clearing the cached data. Go to settings > storage and USB > cached data > Then a pop-up window will come up asking if you want to clear all the data and press yes.
Deleting/moving videos and picturesThis might be another obvious one, but you might not even have to delete your pictures or videos. It might be best if you have a PC or a laptop to plug in your phone and copy the photos and videos over. If you only have a few pictures and you want to put them onto your PC. One way you can do it, which is the way I used to do it. Go to Facebook, and Facebook Messenger type your name and then go to send yourself a message. Then you can send the pictures onto your Facebook on your phone, then log into Facebook on your computer, then you’ll be able to save them directly to your PC. This method will only work for a few photos if you want to transfer a couple. This will not work for large amounts of pictures or videos. How to delete pictures and videos: Go to > Gallery > Then select the images you wish to delete.
Download a memory saving appAnother way to save and clear up your memory is to get the GOM app on the play store. And it’s an amazing little tool, Basically what GOM does it take your images and videos and compresses the files without losing any of the data, so it makes the images and videos smaller and giving you more space while still keeping them. Once you have installed the app, it will Automatically Scan and size all of your images and videos.
